Mitad del Mundo Spanish School is located just south of the Mariscal Sucre Sector of Quito, and within walking distance of Quito’s “Old Town”. The school was started in 1990, and it’s goal is to teach foreigner’s Spanish while also disseminating information about the people and history of Ecuador. The school is recognized by both the Ecuadorian and German Ministries of Education. The school is well equipped with a number of language learning materials from all levels of reading material (in Spanish), to workbooks, to a collection of audio and video cassettes.
