The Simon Bolivar Spanish School is located on the eastern edge of the Mariscal Sucre tourist district of Quito, and is one of the most well-known Spanish schools in the country. They are recognized by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education, and are one of the larger schools in Quito. Every week students get out of the classroom and participate in exciting activities such as: dancing, cooking, cocktailing, visiting cultural and historical points of interest, soccer games, and attending parties, all of which are organized by the school. The school also organizes weekend excursions to many spectacular sites all around the country.
